This was perfect. You gave Charlie enough of a heart to be believable, yet kept that certain gruff...can't think of the right word. I do hope you've got more stories on the way.

That's really sweet and does a lot to humanise Lucky. I thought he was pretty in character; a little surly, a little gruff, but he's got a heart.
