Love this story! i seem to be reading through all your lassiet tales as of late, and this was great as usual. The shawn and gus parts felt just like their antics in a real esp. of psych.

I liked the affectionate snark of this meta-fic. I also liked the original female characters. I am glad that you did not make any of the women the murderer.

As for the Joniettes' vitriol against the Daliettes-I see what you did there. I have never seen such hatred for a non-canon, non-chan, non-incest ship spouted by another group of shippers like Lassiter/Juliet is hated by Shawn/Jules shippers.

My one problem with your story is that there is no Gus equivalent on 'Fake'. Maybe you did this on purpose, as commentary on the way fandom, in general, ignores characters of color in favor of writing about white people. However, I feel you needed to make this more explicit-e.g., have Gus comment on how no one ever writes about the black guy.

First off, I really, really like the tweaks you made to CH 8- I don't think you had anything to be unhappy with, necessarily, but they really did add a lot emotionally.

WRT CH9, what a fun, lovely way to wrap it up, with a wonderful LOL moment in:

His eyes grew wide. "Jules, no! That—that goes against canon!"

I think the word "gurgle" accurately describes the sounds I made at all the Carlton/Juliet moments!

I got sad when I saw the story alert, but then I realized it's not the last chapter! And I kinda wanted to slap Katherine because of how she was going off on the Detectives! And the best part was that Carlton/Juliet kiss!

Wow that was good. The kisses were unexpected but nice. The end was interesting. So many suspects but starting to narrow it done.

Nice to see Lassiter and Juliet buying into their "ship", nice kissing scenes also. Wouldn't mind seeing this on the show :)
