Interesting! I would definitely say that this Harry and Hermione are not going to be readily manipulated by Bumbledork. I suspect that Snape will be understanding woth Harry and that Harry and Hermione will be the #1 and 2 students in their year. Can't wait to see where you go with this story.

Nice start! It is interesting that SmartHArry is not pleased by being left in the dark. I can't wait to see Dumbles response to that statement. lol I hope to see more soon.

Very good first chapter for this story. Spelling and grammar was near perfect as well. The only thing I did not like and other people will probably agree is the remarks that you make in the middle of your writing. If you need to make a remark, you could always place a number by the paragraph and the then have it all at the end. Overall, a very good, interesting and well thought out story.
