i really enjoyed this fic. i like getting a lok at the post engagement fluff. it kept their playful banter and spirit while not ignoring the fact that they are still very unsure of the extent of each others personalities.

I totally agree with Dodger. This is a very good oneshot. It keeps them both in character and is very romantic. I think you've really brought out the feel of Jane Austen's writing. Love it.

I'm usually very sceptical to reading Jane Austen fanfiction, since not many manages to keep her tone of voice or the characters in character (and I prefer never to hear Mr Darcy saying stuff like "come on, let's make out"). But this was amazing. It's almost like it could have been part of the book. The dialouge feels like the two of them talking, teasing, and it is both amusing and highly romantic. Him asking for her permission. His reaction to her calling him by his first name. Her kissing him instead. It is beautiful. Best of all - it feels like a missing scene out of the book. So, thank you, thank you for writing this.
