That's... that's all that can be said, really. I'm not sure what to say except that this is one of the most stunning stories I've ever read.

One of the most remarkable pieces of fan fiction I've ever read. The depth of the tale astonished me, made all the sweeter by the excellent quality of the writing itself.

This story simply blew me away, and once I began reading nothing - not dinner or sleep or homework - could pull me away. This has to be one of the best fanfics I've ever read. It made me laugh in some places, made me cry in others (the latter happening more often). The last chapter nearly broke my heart. You have a beautiful writing style that I am quite jealous of.

Your portrayal of Garak was true to the show, but the things you added and expanded on made it so much more interesting and intriguing. The other series characters were limited but performed well in their roles; I think Odo had a particularly powerful impact, especially during his last couple of scenes with Garak.

I was awe-struck by your ability to create such a convincing AU, and most of all by your original characters. In most stories, OCs are, at best, slightly awkward and out of place, at worst, insufferable pests. But your original characters were very real and very intriguing in a way I have very rarely seen.

Reviewing and analysis and that sort of thing have never been a strong point of mine, so I will simply take the opportunity to congratulate you on an astonishing piece of fan fiction.

This is a truly amazing story, I don't have words for it. I read it all in one sitting, on the edge of my seat, and now I think I'm going to cry. Your portrayal of Garak and his conflicts feels complex, profound, and true. It's really a privilege to finally be able to read your DS9 stories.

I really like this. I love all your Garak stories, but I think this is my favorite. I know I should offer critique, but I love it all. You write very well. Your writing is desciptive and introspective without being flowery and melodramatic. I also really like the way you've protrayed the characters. I'd love to see more Garak fanfic from you.

Amazing. Simply wonderful. I spent today reading your DS9 works, and I'm so glad that this was the last one I read. A great finish. You are an excellent writer, and this was one of the best fanfics I believe I've ever read. Bravo!

This is, without a doubt, one of the ABSOLUTELY best DS9 fics I have ever had the pleasure of reading. That is without the fact that Garak is my favourite character. I am... in awe.
