I believe that John always knew Monica loved him, he just couldn't let himself realize it until the time was right. Nice take on it being the right time.

Loved the emotional highs and lows in this episode. You capture that well.

Aww, sweet! I liked all the stream-of-consciousness stuff with Monica, how she's freaking out about being killed (possibly) but still mentions that she keeps the safety off on her gun. Little things like that were what made this great.
