Thoroughly great read, thank you for posting! Although I do have to admit I cannot help but have mixed feelings about Jane accepting the Lieutenant's position. But it is definitely a nice wrap up for the whole thing! ]

I absolutely love the interactions between Rizzoli and Korsak. In many ways, he understands "crazy Jane" on a more intimate level than even Maura. Great character development. Spot on!

I'm glad the Maura insisted Jane wear a vest. Cavanaugh was going to make sure Jane would never talk, but he forgot that Maura,Korsak and Frost are friends as well as a well oiled team. Now that Jane has to admit that she will never have full use of her left hand, she has to make that hard decision to be out in the field with her right hand or take a desk job that will take her out of harms way, but still allow her to be in the game. Maura is always supportive and I'm sure taking that Lt position is the best for all around. I'm sure Jane will make some rule changes, and she'll be involved as much as possible. But at least she will be out of immediate danger and able to spend time with Maura a little more each day. :D
