Awwwww! So cute! Loved it!

I've always been slightly against the Christine and Erik pairony because she loved the viscount. So anything Erik/OC is greatly acceptable in my eyes as long as the OC is good. And my dear, yours was divine!

I loved her being mute for the first part and gaining her voice back brought tears to my eyes. And I must say, Erik becoming famous as a composer and it being revealed that he OWNED the opera house was wonderful!

I appreciated how much you put into developing their relationship, and not leaving it at simply loving each other for better or for worse. The angst and passion you employed did their jobs well, since I had to stop reading for a while I was so upset when Nina left!

I was shocked when Erik was shot! And thoroughly concerned when it was stated that he may not regain the use of his hand. But the peril played itself to it's best advantage, as it came with Nina writing that song about how she would feel if she lost Erik. Basically an epitome of her feelings and her undying desire, compassion, adoration, and love for him.

The pregnancy was not unseen, but placed well. It helped drive home the fact that this was a permanent relationship, and that Nina's flight really was just to let them cool off. And the Valentine's Day scene was quite enjoyable! I couldn't stop laughing when Erik decided to pay off everyone to pull off an improptue (though heartily accepted) Valentine's Wedding! Erik's song, Nina's return, Madame Giry's confrontation, and what came afterwards were all both well toned and... How shall I say? Steamy.

Hey! I'm not complaining! It was actually easier to read because, unlike the more smutty pieces I've encountered (and didn't even finish), it was more emotion and passion than anything else, which made it more contributing to the story. Smut, as far as I'm concerned, doesn't do anything for plot. You didn't really write smut, you wrote desire, passion, burning, and feeling.

And finally, your ending was perfect! Erik arguing with Nina in the epilogue was priceless! Loved it to bits! You whole epilogue really was great. The only thing I may make mention to was the absence of any developedment on the children. No decriptions, no activities, just names and gender. But I do believe I can completely forgive you there!

What a nice way to make up. :) I'm so glad they both stood up to Madame Giry, she was poisining everything. Perhaps she will change her heart and something good will come of it afterall. Can't wait to see if Andre and Meg 'tie the knot' and why Erik needs blankets... :) - and Erik's response about the baby!
