Once again Zuko is just settling but I do get that he feels like this is it for him because of his status. I really hope Toph is out there kicking ass and being sassy with the guys cause she's not going to let social standings get in her way lol.

I do think that Toph is the jealous type .. just the one that plays it cool because, after all, she is a Lady but I do think it becomes more complicated than that. She is the one that says the most scathing remarks with a smile on her face, never letting said smile falter. The one whose tears are never seen by anyone unless she deems them worthy and when they see them, they can't unsee them. Toph's character is strength and loyalty but I fear her upbringing makes her scared and alone on the inside. No matter how much time passes, she will always consider herself not good enough because her parent's always saw her as a burden almost, which is why she would never allow others to see her weakness. If they did, they would see her wounded heart and how much she just wants others to be proud of her and want her in their life. Yea, she wouldn't necessarily hate Mi because of what happened (although she would be a tad jealous like any other lady in that situation) but mostly because she feels like she was not really wanted the way she thought he wanted her. The real fight she has to get through is with herself and once she discovers how truly amazing and incredible she is, then she'll allow herself to be with Zuko (cause we know that's bound to happen .. they'll find a way _)

And that's just what I think .. well, a bit of what I think about Toph's character lol.

I love how ten minutes after I reviewed last chapter you updated it, I L.O.V.E this chapter, I kind of feel like Toph is either jealous of Mi, or pissed to the max, update SOON :)

I love the way you right this story, This is by far the besy Avatar story I've ever read, everyday I come on here hoping you update this story and everytime I see it's not updated my face goes like this - D:, ANYway great chapter please update soon.

This chapter was really interesting .. seeing the lives and the roles the other players of this story are having. The ones the rich nobles disregard and yet I bet they are going to be the ones that save the Fire Nation by rallying with Zuko, Toph, Azula, and Ursa. I loved it and the inevitably meeting between Toph and Mi .. haha, let the good times roll.

Mai's being a bad girl isn't she? She's trying to rule the whole Fire Nation, so she's gonna get Zuko to marry her and then she's gonna kill him! yep just like that...and ummm...Toph is getting in the way of her plan so she's going to try and kill her off, but it wont work because she's awesome and Zuko is totaly hells over head with her yep yep

Oh, don't worry .. I knew this story was going to be angsty to the extreme since it did star our dear Zuko lol.

Ha, I knew it .. I knew she was going to be pregnant, but did she actually rape him? If Zuko finds this out, he is going to pretty much break but then again this is probably what is going to lead him to the ultimate conclusion on who he loves. No person dishonors a person like that (and come on, Zuko plus honor .. it's a really big deal). Although I don't doubt Mai's love for him, it seems like she is unable to give herself to him because she is following her mother's rules and therefore choosing 'nobility' over love, something Toph would never do. If anything, Toph fights her noble standing to be with those she loves and to fight the good fight because she is all about honor, friendship, loyalty, and love. Some people might not like this whole pregnancy thing but I think it's a good plot point to get to the end-game: Zuko's realization of real love. And I understand Ursa's standing as well, but once all this baby-mama drama goes down, I'm thinking she ain't gonna be on the Mai-line .. and just imagine Azula figuring out her bestie did that to her brother .. oh man.

Ahhh! This story is addicting. You wove the growing emotions of all of the characters skillfully and portrayed the growth of their emotions realistically. Your use of juxtaposition and dialogue with underlying motive is to be commended! I love this story and am looking out for more. Keep up the amazing work! )

Oh absolutely, Tomboy. Iroh knows Toph would never harm Zuko... What he does know is Garza is a snake, and he knows Garza wants Zuko dead... And Garza would not say that Zuko is dead unless he is certain of the fact.

So all the colourful detail Garza came up with on Zuko's death-Iroh would know is fake. But not whether or not Zuko and Toph have been murdered.

I don't think Iroh believed that Toph killed Zuko for a second. He loves her and trusts her, more so in this story because he's been friends with her for so long and he knows that she would never harm anyone she holds dear. However, with all the backstabbing and cutthroat politics he's probably dealing with, I understand if he thought that for maybe a nanosecond.

Of course Azula is brilliant and insane .. but that's what makes her freaking amazing. The lengths she would go to to get something done is not easily matched by anyone. I love how jealous Zuko gets when Toph compliments Azula .. not in a 'stay away from my girl' way, just in a brother-sister way where they both want attention from her lol. And I believe that the only one who would really understand Azula would be Toph since they are both pretty alike .. both prodigies, both badass .. of course Azula went a different route with her upbringing while Toph found herself within a group of loyal friends. Still, they are similar in some ways .. especially in the messing with Zuko department lol.
