A lovely vignette. You convey emotion very well. I liked the idea of the Jedi as slaves, as well. Bravo.

Tatooine slave, Jedi slave, and finally Palpatine's slave- poor Anakin. The Jedi at least would have let him leave the order-the other two were steel traps. If only he could have seen it!

Although mine was first person narrative and yours is third person. Actually, the focus is a bit different too. Yours is about the slave thing, mine's more about his Official Temptation to the Dark Side-ness. Okay I'm rambling. ANNYWAY- Nice. fic. Well-written, and for the most part an astonishingly good job of showing his character.
