Well, you could always write in first person, if that's easier.

On a side note, I liked this fanfic. Not because of the slight desperation note in the Narrator's thoughts or the small glimpses of wet dreams, but because of the fluff. It's rare in this fandom and I like your fic for that. Thank you for taking your time to write something so beautiful.
