I cannot believe it is over. *pouts then smiles* the story was amazing and I am glad i was able to read it. I hope that these characters will come into play or perhaps their children in possible future stories. If not they had an amazing run and I loved every moment of the stories that you put out.

The cavalry to the rescue! I'm glad everything turned out ok, I was worried for a moment :-D

And there's a paragraph that is in the first chapter of part 1, too ("The kilometer-long, needle-like Star Destroyer hovered ominously..."). I liked it a lot, that chapter contained both the beginning and the end of the Alpha Red disaster, looking back :-)

I'm a bit behind on reviews, but I'll try to do one for each chapter when I've a little more time. I hope the move is going okay!

Leyla and Nabrin stood out, and Ashik as well. Things are looking dire for Leyla, who sees no other option than to sacrifice herself... maybe this is why you chose the story title? Although I'm still hoping she'll have a happy ending...

Although the chiss might not like Leyla very much, she's born there, so perhaps it's still important to her emotionally? Let's hope they catch Ryoqim in time! Although neither would be very welcome there right now...

I liked the conversation between Nabrin and Leyla, and it seems that the original intent was not as bad as the results turned out to be (although I think she judges Thrawn a bit too harshly in this).

And Cem was great as well :-)

Hello! It seems that Ryoqim is being cornered :-D Although maybe it'll make him more dangerous... I thought it was symbolic that his base was on the Ithor system, I liked it :-D

And I couldn't help but imagine the confusion on Luke's face after the chiss' explanation! Hehehe :-D It was cunning on Ryoqim's part to use agents of other threatened worlds. I had assumed they might be mercenaries or similar...

This is an amazing series and I am sad to see it end...though as you say when the plot bunnies begin gnawing on your brain you have to write *laughs* but it is turning out to truly amazing and I can't wait for the next chapter to be written.

I am enjoying Thrawn and so many of the others here.

Great chapter! There's so many things happening at once :-D

I liked Thrawn very much in this chapter :-D And especially Leyla! It seems that she's been very busy :-) The scene between Leyla, Niathal and Ryoqim was priceless!

I don't know if this will make Jaina get more or less angry with her, though...

This and the rest of your two series involving the Fels, Solos, Durrons, and many many more is intriguing and interesting. I was wary when I read the first one seeing as I have yet to find more than one or two stories involving Jaina, Jagged Fel, and the rest of the NJO crew that is not whiny or badly written. I am pleasantly surprised and amazed by this well written and well researched story and the many that have come before it.

I am hoping when this one concludes you will bring about more. I am curious will there be romance in the wings for Leyla and Vulcor and perhaps something for Thrawn as well? And just what will the final act of the now found out Senator be? Oh and... will Leyla be grounded for life by her mother and step-father?

Niathal's certainly not wasting time before going into battle... she seems to truly think the assasination attempt was the Chiss' doing :-/ Nice introduction to each side of the battle! I wonder how it'll go :-D

Hehe, it seems that Luke and Leia have been busy... Pity that they couldn't make those politicians see reason, but what a great way of summing up what was likely to be a lot of meetings into a few paragraphs :-)

At least Darklighter seems to be a sensible man :-) I think he'll probably do what he thinks fair! He would have been a good candidate for Supreme Commander.

I also liked Leyla's conversation with Cem. It seems she hasn't realized yet that the rescue was Thrawn's doing, but maybe later she will :-) I wonder what she's planning!

Another great chapter! I liked very much your description of Leyla's mood while in captivity, and her conversation with Jacen, although I don't agree with him that she doesn't care about her friends and family. But maybe he has that opinion on Jaina's behalf...

Well, maybe not by looking at the wall paintings, but one has to admit that Thrawn has sprung her out of one of the most secure places in the galaxy with just a little effort :-D "You tell him that I ran into a clone of the late Grand Admiral Thrawn on the Hydian Way and am helping him prevent a catastrophic galactic crisis." I simply loved that!

I guess this chapter answers my question about Thrawn :-D I was missing him! I loved his conversation with Cem, and his analysis of the situation. They have an interesting relationship :-)

I'm starting to like Reige more and more with each chapter :-) I wonder what he'll find out about Croyel... I loved Ashik's scene too :-) I understand Jag's concern, after his last dealings with the Ascendancy...

I wanted to thank you for letting us know what had happened to Leyla and not leaving us hanging :-D It must be really ackward for her to confront her family, and not being able to tell them why she's done what she's done... At least at the end of the chapter the Jedi don't blame her for the murder attempt...

I wonder if Thrawn will be forced to act, this doesn't seem to fit into his plans :-) It seems too that the focus is moving now towards trying to prevent the possible war between the Alliance and the Imperial Remnant and the Ascendancy (the Confederation is a bit out of shape now!). Ryoqim has a a lot of munnition there to create conflicts... although it appears that now it's him who's running out of time! hehehe...
