Now that was a fun chapter. I liked Jack knowingly watching Connie and Mike's interactions...and trying not to smile.

Yeah! A chapter 100% Connie & Mike. I love it!

I love Jack, he is so funny when he hols his smile. It was a great moment between Connie and him. Even more when Mike arrives. I love them together. It's my golden trio.

And the scene between Connie and Mike. It made me dance on my bed as a mad personn. And it's only 10 a.m in France.

I thank Connie to have taken the first step. I would like to be in her place. Yes,I fantasize too about Mike's hands.

You know what? I love Blackberry, I have one, mainly because Mike has one. And I love Mike's blackberry. Without it, Mike isn't the same personn. But there, I have been able to swing it by the window.

Fortunately, Mike asks to Connie a mini-date and he was really cute. The great lawyer Michael Cutter loses his words to the beautiful Connie Rubirosa. You are really addict Mickey blue eyes. But she is too, good news for you.

Thank you for this chapter. I think that it's my favourite since the start of this story. And I can't wait for their date.

I LOVED THIS ENDING! Oh, the Mike/Connie moment was really sweet! I thought they were going to kiss and then the interruption! I thought Nooooo! Yet, it felt like such a happy ending! Great crime, great romance. Sad to see it completed, but hopefully there is another story just around the bend!

Wow, Abby! You've really taken the time to think this through and work out all the fine details! That confession was something else-and to think, it all came about because Mike was protecting Connie! I also love how they seem to be so in sync with one another-knowing how they work and think :)

"Mike raised an eyebrow"- yeah, they're totally doing it. hahaha. I love how he was quick to defend her when an insult was flown her way. I love the spilling of the guts too. I bet Mike would have had to use the de-mister on the windshield on the way home, it would have been that foggy hehe

So, at last we have a confession! Great job of showing how Mike and Connie were so supportive of each other. And Mike was even going to let her do the summation! They really were working like a team! Interesting chapter and I liked how the case wrapped up with a nice plea bargain! Looking forward to seeing some Mike and Connie time in the next chapter, too!

Mike is badass and it's so cool. I love that Mike and Connie take the defense to each other. It's so fun. Mike is a really good lawyer and he knows it but I love that he needs Connie's approval.

Oh, this was just great! Loved how we could see the detectives doing their job, interviewing suspects and eliminating them one by one!

Lupo and Bernard are so cool and collected and the quips were a nice added touch!

I like that as readers, we are kept in the dark as to if Lucinda was siphoning funds or not.

Okay, first the dimples, then the matching clothes? You're killing me! I love it! It's very clear that you are working hard on this story. It's well written, the plot is wonderful, AND you've managed to work in a little romance to boot. I really honestly cannot wait to read more! Also, yet again, Connie saves the day! :)

Another fabulous chapter, this one concentrating on the crime. So Connie again is the clever one! Love how everything is falling into place now!

Also love the reference to the old worn baseball. Bet it was the white one (wink!wink!)
