Juliette is really surprising me now she told Leandros to go after Gabrielle which will turn everything upside down if Xena walks in and finds him kissing her and she also a suspect to a murder ether this is one hell of a clever plan on her part or she has everyone fooled.

Ha! Just thought of something. Xena let Gabreille catch the guy. She knew that he was hovering over her before he moved to Gabrielle's side. Apparently Gabreille didn't catch that fact.. at least not yet. Bravo for her to boosting Gabreille confidence.

I do like how the story is progressing though, a strange town, people hard to get along with, and and old friend of Xena's in trouble. Good plot devices so far, you're setting up a good solid story line :)

You have the characters nailed so well. I can see an early Gabrielle, just starting to become confident in her abilities, and a still cocky Xena who gets a kick out of teasing her. The whole scene with the staff was wonderfully done, and then the scene where Gabrielle gets upset and Xena keeps her from harming the boy is also well done.

I'm liking him less and less...

I loved this one as well, it was written really well yet again, especially the flashback with Xena and Selena. You can really feel what the characters are going through with how you write, well done. Awesome stuff, can't wait for more! :D

That was a real surprise I did not expect Xena to get drunk and do that, but strangle I don't blame ether of them because it across as old history and feels more like them just finishing of unfinished business as both don't see it as a romance or relationship, but this will turn everything upside down for Gabrielle as she may completely misinterpret it and go and do something really stupid. Can't wait for more :D
