You already know the one word I was holding onto that perfectly describes your writing, but I've discovered another: human. I think I've said it before, but this story takes it further. You get in their heads and I feel like I'm in a swirl of their thoughts, and you're the one who controls the direction and flow. You reveal the gray area when it seems like the situation is white and black.

"Just like protecting and hiding are two different things?" A) Your Martha is so Martha, which sounds redundant and silly but isn't. B)Gray. So gray. You said it just right.

I just got caught up rereading that part where she sees what she's taken from him and what she's replaced it with. Your story makes me feel pain just as intensely as the show, and since you've seen how strongly I react, you should know what that means. All of those slightly creepy, worship-y things I say about Marlowe? They apply to you too. You amaze me with your talent.

And basically my heart is in pieces for a second time because of this. I can't pick out the best part. It's all so wonderful. Gah. Okay. One of the lines reminded me of season one and now I'm a mess. Look at what you've done. I bet you're proud, meany pants.

This is a truly beautiful story. I've loved every word and I'm so glad you wrote it. It's painful and raw but so gorgeous at once, and that's something I've always loved about your writing. You do that duality so well, and it's always so effective.

Oh, man, this ending was perfect.

I love it how it wasn't all happy, smiley faces. It was hurtful and honest and full of compromises. And it's how real life works.

So I think you've done it beautifully.

Loved it how she took her time and came to him. Loved it how she gave him all the reasons to do this with her or not at all. And love it how he was prepared to fight for what he believed in.

And the note on her murderboard was priceless. And so Castle.

I believe the main reason Kate was upset with Rick was because he was putting himself in danger with his investigating. Also, his family could be brought in as well and Kate did not want to lose another person she cared about because of it.

I really liked their conversation. You got Kate to say what she needed to make Rick understand. Ultimately, they both work on the case or they don't. I think that's fair and they can start a relationship that they both want to have.

Great ending and a wonderful job.

This was gorgeous. The style in which you wrote was breathtaking. Every discription was flawless and the emotions sharp, clear and relatable. The story line was fantastic.
