|Reviews for Heroes - Rebirth from the Ashes|

I like it so far...just started a few minutes ago and on chapter 3. However some of the typos/grammatical errors are a little distracting.

Out of ALL of the bad guys you could've created/choosen, you picked HITLER?
| WOWcow 1/5/13 . chapter 31
Yeeep! I love this story! I especially like how the chapters are so action packed and how you gave a good insight into the background of each character. Can't wait for the next part of the story :) oh and the last line in chp 26 (?) absolutely cracked me up!
| julyisfree 12/26/12 . chapter 31
Oh wow what ending!
First let me tell you how happy I'm that a Heroes story is now complete. Look, many just start big way and then suddenly stop, there is nothing most frustrating for me when that happens.
Second, THERE IS GONNA BE A SEQUEL?! YAY! I'm so psyched to hear that :D I'm going to love to see where you are going to take those characters from here and out.
Third, now I can comment this chapter in particular. The battle between Peter and Hitler was all the levels of epic as I was expecting it to be; I loved Hitler last lines "I knew it would be you. You were the only one I feared." Peter really grown up from that dreamer to this avenger. I enjoyed his character development.
Tracy and Noah was one of those things that take you by surprise, I mean in the show I was 'meh' about them but seeing them together here make me realize how perfect they are for each other, Tracy as the ice queen and Noah as the man of steel XD their kids would be epic.
Angela, oh god how I love this woman, writing form her POV is like seeing through a curtain of fog from everyone else, everything is blurred and dizzy but she can still see the things nonetheless. I love her security.
Molly, Noah Jr and Hiro, those kids; I personally wasn’t expecting for Hiro to stay in his child form but as an adult he was mostly like a kid so I guess is fine. Loved Kimiko's presence. Molly is another of those forgotten characters that are great to explore. I enjoyed the progression of her power through the story. Noah Jr one of your best twist, the question of 'who was the mother of Noah in that exposed future we saw in I'm become death' is one of the biggest for most of the fans (LoL we all wanted to know with who Sylar hooked up XD) and you gives an answer without recurring to any off putting ship or OC female, I applaud you for that.
The mansion staff, they were a nice addition and although I often avoid OC's (both writing them and reading them) I understand when they are absolutely necessary for a story.
and finally Claire and Gabriel, ok these two are my forever OTP and every slight sylaire addition always fills my heart with emotion, there is no doubts in my head that they are perfect for each other and though all of this is true I'm also grateful you didn’t rush things between them, you didn’t make them instantly in love with each other and you showed us the struggle within them. That's what I like about this ship, they have eternity, why rush things? And as for individual grown I loved that you started with Sylar and ended with Gabriel because he too needed to come to terms with his old identity after the events of the wall. Claire not only grow up as a person but also we saw small glimpses of an evolution within her power too (she left aside her whinny attitude to fight back, that's why I love her)
Overall I enjoyed this story, had me tearing up at some moments, laughing my ass off, biting my nails with a well placed cliffhanger and smiling through a cute moment.
Again thank you and I'll love to keep reading your stuff.

I'm gonna keep this review short and sweet 'cause I want to go read the beginning of your next one!
The fight scene was amazing - I was so thrilled to see Peter was not only back but also that he was the one to finally drive the knife through Hitler's chest and then put him in the tomb. That was so satisfying!
It's nice to see everyone together and well in the epilogue. Tracy and Noah are so cute, you've really make me fall in love with them! Angela of course lived up to her semi-manipulative (I'll only say 'semi' because it's done in good jest and not for bad-for-sake-of-good intentions) persona with basically setting Peter up - wonderful! Gabriel becoming a fixture in their hero unit was really comforting, I'm glad that after all that he fits in without really a second thought; the only second thought was the "Claire, make him stop" moment and that was just funny!
Molly's "Twins!" comment has me incredibly intrigued! Are they being born right then or in the future? Ah, you have me so excited!
Great story. Really, just... great. :D

OMG THIS CHAPTER!
The change of POV's I'm a big fan of multiple PoV's but sometimes it's get a little tricky, is difficult to explain the same event from different eyes without failing and becoming somewhat redundant, but I feel that you have accomplished with this flawlessly and this chapter is proof to that. You added various precious points in the narrative without developing the plot line so much; it was a nice in-between chapter.
I greatly enjoyed Claire's explanation to joining the cheerleading squad, is like she always felt this disconnection to the world thus moving her to be part of something and in a way it was also a call for attention to Noah.
The mention of Mr. Muggles: Brilliant. Nice change of pace from all the angst.
Noah: he really is the man with a plan, always thinking beforehand.
Tracy: YaY she is alive! I'm so rooting for her.
Little Noah: my heart was melting for his attachment with Claire. They're so cute together.
Gabriel: That's him even when the last fiber of his being he'll try to do the impossible, I was so scared for him.
And finally the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers: PETER FUCKING PETRELLI IS BACK!
I swear I screamed: HELL YEAH KICK HIS ASS PETE!
This story is killing me, please update soon!
| Purple Lex 12/12/12 . chapter 30
"that key will open a safety deposit box, in the New York City Central Bank. It is stored under the name of Mister Muggles." - Bahahahh!
That was the only moment I laughed though 'cause DRAMA'S EVERYWHERE.
So much angst! YAAAAAAY Peter's back! I knew it, I knew it! *does a little happy dance* I can't wait - now regain your consciousness Gabriel and heal so you'll know your friend isn't dead and you both can beat the crap out of Hitler (preferably killing him for good this time!)
I couldn't help thinking, reading Claire and Noah's regret-ridden thoughts, that they both need a vacation. And Tracy does. And Molly - that girl has seen some serious stuff that a girl her age shouldn't. I hope our heroes win soon! They deserve it :-)
| julyisfree 12/4/12 . chapter 29
Is this coffee hot? Never mind my I'm having an out-of-body experience right now.
EXCUSE ME WHILE I DO A COUPLE RUNS AROUND MY NEIGHBORHOOD TO CALM DOWN A LITTLE!
Ok I'm back to normal (or at least as normal as I can get)
I can assure that that scene with those two having what I a moment in the middle of a freaking battle was breathaking, I mean the chaos and their connection and the hurt, this is how I define Gabriel/Sylar and Claire relationship.
Really beatiful scene, you have me at the edge of my seat for all that moment.
And the action/fight ones I told you this time and time again but I have to said again: I love how you write that kind of scenes, they are so detailed and dinamic that is like seeing an action movie, also the way you portray each power, I love that you have evolved their powers in a way that is not but logical.
And Noah, gosh he is such a badass and the guy doesnt even have a power just pure determination and a will of steel.
This is my way of saying I DONT WANT HIM TO DIE!
But you're the boss so whatever happens next I'm sure I'm gonna love it anyway :)

NO. YOU CANNOT LEAVE IT THERE! The anticipation is kiiiilllliiinng me! O_O
Another great chapter C:
| cerberus angel 11/23/12 . chapter 29
Oh shit... you have blown my mind away. I'm having so many mixed fixed feelings with this chapter. I was so excited for Claire and Gabriel in the beginning of the chapter. My favorite scene had to be when Claire described the way Gabriel's power outlined his form and seemed to form wings behind him as he ran forward and punched Hitler on the chest. My second favorite scene was the almost kiss! That small moment they had among the chaos was short, but very heartfelt. I have to say Bravo team have become another favorite set of characters. Don't even let me started on Noah the love he holds for Claire and how far he's willing to go for her is beyond belief as it is heartbreaking. I'm hoping against all odds he's still alive. I so badly I am hoping Hitler has a very horrible death.
| cerberus angel 11/23/12 . chapter 28
I have to give you major props for how you developed this fic and all the characters in it. But most of all for Claire. There are not many fics that show her true potential and that is exactly what you do in this fic. You remind why she's one of my favorite characters in Heroes. I rooting for our cheerleader in this chap like there would be no tomorrow. Oh my goodness! Gabriel's arrive in the end was awesome, but it was his promise at the end that made it freaking amazing! :D
| julyisfree 11/16/12 . chapter 28
Oh my, oh my, oh my!
WHY I DIDNT READ THIS BEFORE!
So sorry for the late review (again /fails/)
I can't stop to comment about how I enjoy the duality in Claire's character, although in earlier chapters she acted in many ocassions as the victim, in the latest chapters she begun to actually stand her ground and defend herself; while now we got to see that vulnerable side again, I can help myself and not commiserate with it, because is something I was expecting; she is past the broken line, those events were too much and she finally bend down over the pressure of the situation. I 'heart' her scenes under the rain pleading for someone to save her, particularly this line:
"Dear God. I know I don't talk to you like I should. I know I was a holy terror in Sunday school. But if there was anytime in my life that I can use your help, it's now. I need you to save me!"
And the help quite literaly came from the skies.
'Gabriel Gray spoke in a voice that made the very ground rumble as he braced himself for an attack, "Today you will die!"
I dont think I could have said it better, there is a blood bath coming for those who tried to wrong Claire.
As always another great chapter.
Side note: the pieces of the captain and the pilots were a nice touch :)
| Alexandra 11/8/12 . chapter 1
I LOVE THIS! PLEASE CONTINUE (:
| Purple Lex 11/1/12 . chapter 28
It's getting so good!
I can't help thinking about how exhausted Claire will be when this is all over - every single day she has had to fight just to have a chance at escaping, let alone surviving. It's a good thing she cannot feel pain or she would not have been able to do half the things she's done.
I wonder what Angela has planned, going to Ezra like that. I hope the government is able to get involved somehow and help the other Specials stop this.
And can Gabriel please, please, pretty please with a cherry on top be the one to kill Hitler? I feel he deserves it - Claire deserves it more, but since he loves Claire I believe that's still fair.
...Does he love her? Will that be something we get told at the end of the story?
My excitement for the next chapter is overflowing.
PS: Didn't comment on last chapter but loved it to pieces, probably second or third behind this chapter, I just didn't have the time to leave a review and since I'm already on this one... sorry!
