Creepy. You captured Knives very well, and I like the idea you explore here. I always imagined he would have some out for it, but even the manga/anime never really explores it. Well done.

THIS is why Knives is so frightening: he can rationally justify anything. I read this and all I could think was, You arrogant, pretentious, megalomaniac! He really does think he knows what's best for everyone, doesn't he? Self-elected Prince of the Plants- very Machiavellian, the means always justifiable by the end.

I like this! It's in character for Knives, and it explains why he allowed the Plant to die in the anime. I've always wondered about that. Excellent explanation! It is short, but it's very good. Keep writing!

This is old, but still excellent. I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who wondered whether Knives devoted a thought to the Plants who were sacrificed as a result of his agenda.

Wow, great exploration of how Knives' mind works and why he would be willing to destroy Plants. I've thought of it myself, and usually chalked it up to sheer insanity. But really Knives isn't like that, he's more... like this. Excellent.

Collateral could not be more accurate. Its like the lost 15 minute episode. Very well done, great grasp on the aspect of Knives. Almost had me fooled when he "sent out a silent prayer" but for the Plants was a great touch. Keep it up, lots of talent to be found here.

I always thought it was irrational of Knives to have his minions attack the plants, but I explained it away as Legato being jealous of them or simply a plot hole.
