I really enjoyed reading this, and it was interesting to see an unusual pairing in here. Yoh and Asami have their similarities, and they seem well matched. It was neat to think of them starting out, working their ways up to the top. In the canon, Asami (even in the Hong Kong prequel stuff) seems to have appeared on the scene fully formed and powerful and in control, and it's almost weird to think of him having to fight his way to where he is now. And this line "I knew you had to be greedy at least in one thing" is perfect. Love it! :D
