This is a cool idea! The writing is good and your style makes it read like an actual fairy tale. Although, it does seem kind of non-specific to the Avalon universe (e.g. Christmas on Aldenmor). Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this one and seeing how the mages have evolved into legends.
