So sad that Angela was willing to do whatever she could to cure Madison, so that she and Sam could be together, but Madison didn't want it. Madison felt that Angela's life was worth more to the world than her own, plus she saw that Sam was important to Angela. Watching Sam have to shoot Madison had to have hurt Angela too. It was good of her to be there, but it also showed how much she cared about Sam, even if she still doesn't consciously acknowledge it. :)
