i can't with this story! sakura, is amazing, so vibrant, so alive. floyd, was an idiot. plain and simple. (right now, though? we'll see, and i personally can't wait to see!)

but i'm loving the journey so far; loving how their relationship is slowly changing.

loving sakura's friendship with chuckie. and the other men. (her excursion with them was amazing, probably a favorite scene!)

i love how you add details of japanese culture, ww2 history concerning the japanese-americans, america's view on the japanese-americans at the time. it makes it so ... real.

I am SO happy that you're back! :). Woah, what a chapter, huh? It has taken quite some time, but I simply love the beautiful outcome of it, so it was definitely worth waiting for.
Ugh, I know the terrible feeling of writer's block all too well right now, since I'm pretty much stuck on The Lost Girl's War right now. I haven't updated anything in ages, but have been writing on new and different pieces of possible new up-coming fics from my hand. Also, schoolwork and handball needs to be taken care of and time just seems to fly. Also, I've found a new love and passion in Les Misérables and Aaron Tveit playing Enjolras in the film (don't know if you've seen it), but I think it's amazing. - This was just a little update on my simple life while you've been gone, so my question is now; How have you been?

Now to the chapter/story: I don't know if I've said this to you before (which I curse myself for if I haven't), but this is one of the most well-detailed, considered and beautiful characterizing story I've ever read in the time I have known about fanfiction. Honestly.

Sheesh, I took a while to review this one! Sorry, lovely author! Well, well, well, this one was amazing and probably the best chapter so far: Sakura doubting herself (which is perfectly realistic), the change in relationships (understandable and relatable), the mystery surrounding Josie and James, oh Sakura's speech (I know others have mentioned it, but it has to be mentioned!), and omg Talberts sudden appearance. Fantastic! Can't wait for more ... I'll just silently spazz and impatiently wait for chapter 5!

Oh, holy-moley! This chapter was great. Really, really great: Sakura's bond with Grace, introducing new characters (Josie was amazing, and I have a feeling we'll see her again before the story ends), the ordeal with James (Bob, tehehe), Talbert's sudden appearance, but most of all, the one sentence you highlighted, that there's a lot going on behind the scenes. Can't wait for more, thelovelypuppeteer!

Oh, this chapter! Josie is a hoot, though I don't think Sakura would agree with that. Grace, like Sakura, is definitely developing, and I like how you're slowly introducing the other J-A women involved in their situation. Sakura's speech! Oh, Lord, that speech was amazing! Everything was, so - again - I cannot wait for more!

I have to just start off with WOW! Your story has so much detail and thought put into it. It is like you are putting Sakura and her story into painting, a little part of the canvas at a time. It is coming along really well.
You always leave us with at least one question to ask, which is nice. It doesn't leave us hanging with a cliffhanger, but it does have us think about what could possibly happen next.
I would personally like to hear some of Chapter Three and Chapter Four from the men's perspective, staring with them going off without Sakura. I can imagine Shifty right now frantically searching the ship for her, possibly with Grant and Talbert?, only to discover she is not on the ship. I am also curious to know the story of the shirtless picture. Ramirez, Vest, Alley, Spina, Roe, Grant, Talbert, Toye, Guarnere, Lipton, Shifty, Tipper, Muck, Malarkey, Christenson, Bull all shirtless in a photo maybe needs the back-story, like why they all agreed to it, and who took the picture!
I am very curious as to how Talbert knew she was coming and what house she was staying in, and what window was hers? I would also like some more of the pairing.

She's back with the boys! Can't wait for the next chapter!
