Your writing has certainly changed a lot in a year. I can tell from the absence of intermittent author notes and better spell checking, as well as shorter chapters. Can't stress enough their importance You've always been a great writer, but now you're really going places. That's awesome.

It's always difficult to review the first chapter, because you can't really tell where the story is going.

Also I noticed you've named Billy's siblings. In TMASOT I named them Danny and Amanda. It's hard to tell if they'll show up again, but if they do I'll probably use my own names.

...Every time I read these I get the urge to try to install those games again... This urge is only blocked by my need to do homework, and only surpassed by my urge to go live in the wild for a week... (don't ask, I have no idea what's come over me, it's like I HAVE to do it)

Anyway, is "Altered" something I should be familiar with from the games? If not, I assume you'll explain next chapter, but I just wanted to make sure XD I am liking this so far :D
