Awww... that was lovely! I absolutely loved that bit from The End of Time when the Doctor said he'd be proud if Wilf was his dad, so this is just perfect. And there's nothing like a warm hug when you're down! Great little story :)

The episode itself has already been put into rhyme, in a way. Have you heard "The Doctor Is Dying", by Chameleon Circuit? BRILLIANT song. I love it so very much, despite how sad it makes me. But then, sad is happy for deep people. ]

Anyway, lovely fic. Wilf was a great character, and I kind of wish he'd gotten more of a chance to shine.
