This made me want to cry. I really felt for the two of them, really got into Xander's head a bit.

I like this very much.. not Xander's manner of speaking, but you seemed to want him serious for a change. Very eloquent without a whole lot of cliches (always a problem in fanfic). Good prose; keep writing :)

That was the best but it was so sad I felt like crying, and that, coming from me is the highest praise you can get because I'm a big, soppy romantic at heart.

Good first person perspective. A bit on the pensive side for Xander, but every dog has his day, I guess. The dynamic was good. "Don't be a dork." fit Cordy to a tee.
