oh my goodness, i hope your sister is feeling better!

I'm so so sorry about your sister. I do have an account but I have a lot of problems with writing a story in the first place (I don't know how to upload and my sister is the one who updaqtes our stories, I can't update consistently, etc.).

She wrote a good story. I can only hope whoever continues it will write as well. She is in heaven now.

This Fanfiction is kinda iffy for me. It's not entirely bad, but it isn't the greatest Cato/Katniss Fanfiction. Actually, I haven't read a Cato/Katniss Fanfiction that I didn't hate, but I don't hate this one. That's a good thing. But there are a few annoying problems with it, so here we go:

Chapter 1:

This chapter was, by far, the best out of all five. The writing is descriptive, yet there are some errors. Cato is in-character(at the beggining, at least, but we'll get to that later), Cato's sister is immediately lovable, and Clove is the girl you should hate, but love(good thing)!

By the end of the chapter, especially in the last few lines, Cato is OOC. He would never immediately think that Katniss is the most beautiful thing he's ever seen. If he were in-character, he would want to kill her for being a volunteer from an outer District. Other than that, the chapter is good. Not great, but good.

Chapter 2:

When Cato had the dream, I was really hoping that it was a dream. If it happened in real life, it would've been the most forced romance ever.

"As I sit in my chair waiting for my stylist I begin to try and summarize what has happened in the past two days. I have volunteered for the reaping that way I can help my sister, I have fallen for Katniss Everdeen, my mentor Brutus isn't as terrifying as he seems, I have to act like an ass in order to get sponsors, and finally I was here in the Capitol waiting for a ditzy, bubble-headed stylist who probably isn't coming because he or she is too drunk from a Capitol party they probably went to last night."

This passage of the story really ruins it the most for me. The second sentence, particularly. It all seems cliched and OOC.

Chapter 3-4:

These two chapters bug me, because of the OOCness. Not much more I can say.

Chapter 5:

This chapter is better. I feel Cato is getting more in-character in the last few paragraphs of the chapter, so good job on that!

Overall, this story is enjoyable if you're able to get over the OOCness. You give Brutus more character in this story, and that's something I never see, so points for that. Also, Clove is in-character, so that's good. Rating from 1-10: generous 6.

katniss is really something! hmmm base from peeta's words its like cato is only using katniss, i hope its not true and that he is only jealous! clove is bloodthirsty here...

well i hope the capitol will see the lust in cato's eyes so that they would cheer for them! hmm what is peeta thinking? and katniss already a threat awesome hehehe

Enjoying the story thus far. I actually like the more gentler side of Cato and not the 'I love blood' attitude. Keep it up, can't wait for the next one :)
