That was really sweet. It didn't have the romantic ending I might have hoped for, but the ending was much more realistic than that. I like how you ended it with a promise of a future happy ending. You did a great job of getting into his head, and his heart.
I really liked how you drew out the fact that they were connected in ways that she couldn't be connected to anyone who isn't a transgenic.
Btw- have you ever wondered if the reason she doesn't want Alec to call her Maxie is because that's what Zack calls her? That it's too special?

This song-fic is appropriately described. It fits the character's emotions with the situation they were put under. I feel for Zack, and wish it could have turned out different - but reality is cold, harsh truth. Very bittersweet, thank you.

I like Zack, and I like your portrayal of Zack. In my opinion, he's one of the most complex characters, and hard as hell to write. It's so easy to fall into the trap of cliched-Zack who only spouts off those harsh words and direct orders. But he's so human in this story.

I love it! All of it. A little smaltzy at the end, but whoever said that was bad? It works for this story.

just a note to relate how much I liked "Love is On the Way". In my evil mind I picture this story taking place right before season 2 last show, and Max holding Logan's hand is a sub for Zack. I enjoy that he did not fully confess (that would be sooo non solider of him) everything that he feels for her and you wrote this story from his POV only......thank you

I'll be the first to admit I had a huge thing for Zack last season, and he will always hold a special place in my "Dark Angel" heart. I love this story but.....please continue and put them together. You cannot write a story as beautiful as that and hold off.(Technically you can; but I'll be thouroughly pissed.) In all reality though, once I am done writing this review, I am checking to see what else you have written. I am very impressed by your work.
