tattered.notebook 6/2/12 . chapter 8Man, I've missed this story! I just so loved this chapter. Adorable. :) Love Kate being crafty. Loved something as simple as her trying to calm him down with a hand on the shoulder. What good storytelling. Please do not install a zip line and loose your fingers so that you can no longer write. That would be tragic. Instead, use your time to write more chapters! Win win! A |
TrapperII 6/2/12 . chapter 8Delightful! Kate truly is crafty (seriously which of you came up with that brilliant idea?), and the whole no zip lining thing cracked me up :) |

Copop 6/2/12 . chapter 8hahaha, spoil them rotten. Ah, I loove word plays. I guess with the no zipline, there is no need to buy the apartment across the street, too? Well, they/he could still buy one, lol. |
Lizicia 6/2/12 . chapter 8That is just...I cannot fathom how you do it but you can even turn a simple task on a bucket list into something so meaningful and crafty. Spoil them rotten, wow, I just laughed so hard at that because it's quite brilliant. Wonderful. |
Arrant Schemata 6/2/12 . chapter 8Four crossed off in one story - pretty good going! Love the egg idea, such a clever way to do those numbers and a great call back to that episode and a wonderful play on words. Laura |

KBRC 6/2/12 . chapter 8 OK I'm a bit confused. When did he buy the apartment across the street? |
dopeysac 6/2/12 . chapter 8Yay! An update! I love how both of your clever minds work to cross off the items on his bucket list! I had to stop and look at the list and thought - huh? I completely forgot about Feggin! Love it! |
someheartslove 6/2/12 . chapter 8Seriously, seriously, seriously, how can you two write something this funny and loving and SO freaking smart! It's like you wrote that list just to cross is for us and you already had the idea about every single item. Because this is genius. Making him the grandfather of Alexis' egg and then that egg had another eggs and she spoiled them rotten! OH MY. I have this freaky obsession with smart people, creative smart people, and I just have a feeling you two fall into that category. Oh wow, how amazing this was. I definitely have to read it again. And the zipline! Oh, how smart. You avoided the whole buying another apartment aaaand actually using the zipline (which I had to google, bdw, I thought somebody died using a zipper on pants...). Love it how he just came to her, just wanted to tell her there is no way he's doing the zipline ever, and I absolutely adored his reasons. Because that's exactly Castle. He would be thrilled with pirate hooks and robot hands, but touching Kate Beckett definitely beats pirates and robots. And he wanted to cross it off his list so eagerly, right away, with her, because he can't even think about not being able to touch her the way he wanted. Ah. So much love and passion and caring in this. One day you're gonna kill me with this sweet things you write. Seriously. Oh! And the spoiled eggs! Hahahahaa I have NO idea who thought of that one, but I absolutely loved it. Funny story, my mom left couple of eggs from her little farm to spoil on purpose and they were laying on the sun, in the middle of summer, for about a month, and they didn't spoil. We were all very disappointed. And it's so amazing Kate even remembered Feggin. Love it how you make these connections to things we know about them from the show. And of course she's working to the last on on the list. Can't wait to see how you're gonna write that. Because it sure won't be regular or normal and you're gonna surprise us all and we are going to love it. Ah, and her response to that, Knicks winning the championship HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, loved it. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Loved it SO much! |
