I swear, if you don't finish this story I don't know what to say! It's so good! I hope Pratt will turn to the light and stuff cuz of Brummel and stuff, but I don't know, you're a crazy good writer at building suspence though. and is Lacian a jedi? Well...this story is friggin awesome and you have to update sooN! SOON! UPDATE KEEP WRITING UNTIL YOU FINISH IT!

That last bit with Obi-wan and the young boy was "aww" worthy and heart-breaking at the same time. Gosh.

I have entertained myself for a few hours with this fantastic story. I don't know how I have not stumbled upon it sooner. But I am very glad that I did.

I love the Obidala. But poor Anakin, and all the other Jedi.

You write action, and romance extremely well. I'm very intrigued to find out how this battle will end.

And at the end Obi-wan and the boy. It was so emotional. I love it when obi-wan told the boy that he would get rid of the soldiers, "all of them." it was precious. It was the right amount of emotion for that time. You're fantastic at giving us a break after such emotional surges and then just give us a little bit of humor in there. and seriousness. i could picture how grave obi-wan's voice was when he said the line.

anyhow, it was a great chapter and i'm looking forward to the next.

I was so thankful that Obiwan and Padme were able to get a moment to catch their breaths. I believe they both needed it, to be able to continue their jounrey.

I feel so awful for Brummel. I can understand his hate, but I also know that it's very dangerous...it'll break my heart if he falls to the dark side...but well if it's part of the story, i'll completely understand.

It was a great chapter. It really let me as the reader catch my breath for a moment. And that was good. But it also wasn't to much of a breather! If that makes any sense.

An absolutely beautiful chapter. I am so scared for Brummel and so happy Padme and ObiWan are reunited. Your action scenes are the most fluid I've read. How you've managed to capture lightsaber fights is just amazing. Cannot wait for the next chapter. Just fantastic!

I just have to say i hated that sabe died...i'm guessing brummel will die also and that's just heartbreaking...Not that it didn't belong in the story..it just hurts.

I'm glad that obi-wan and padme have been reunited, but i know something bad is about to happen, so i'm extremely nervous. This story must take up a great deal of time...because you go into such great detail and it's fantastic. thanks for sharing it with me.

i'm reading through the story and I'm on chapter 27. It's been a gigantic story to get through and it's been difficult to read at times...I'm sure that was the desired effect. It's dark and sad, but it's amazing. I enjoy it so much and I am so glad you are finishing it. i would have hated to read all this and then have no ending. I just want you to know that I think you are very talented and would enjoy reading any story you write. you obviously think through the details and plot lines and it shows. This has just been a joy to read.

I found this story yesterday and just finished reading it. Along with Lionchilde's 'One Path', I've gotta say this is my favorite Obidala story I've ever found.

In particular, I like the character of Brummel Carde. Since he is your OC (unless I'm missing something in the EU), I would like to ask your permission to do something. If you don't mind, I would like to borrow Brummel for my own Obidala fic. I'm afraid it's nowhere near the quality of yours and I'd understand if you refuse. I have a few OC's of my own that I'm rather protective of. But I give you my word to treat the character with the respect he deserves and that you deserve. I wouldn't have him going off the deep end or anything. But I need a few Jedi that have survived the Purge. And, aside from Shaak Ti, Brummel Carde is the first one I've come across that I truly like.

But on to the actual review. Your characterization of Obi-Wan is brilliant. I love the way you write his sense of humor, especially. So dry. Your take on his relationship with Padme and what leads up to the revelation of their feelings towards one another is one I haven't seen before in Obidala stories. Very unique. A little faster than usual, but explained nicely.

I can't wait to see more of this. I'm seeing a darker side of Obi-Wan as he faces Darth Ovid, which is intriguing. Yet he's still the same Obi-Wan in essence. Excellent story! Thanks for posting it and sharing it with us.

"If I live through this, I will never complain about ..." I noticed you put this line in the last chapter, about Anakin wouldn't complain about Obi-Wan,...and now Obi-Wan is saying the same about Anakin... LOL..
