| CocoaCollidoscope 5/1/12 . chapter 1
I had much to say on this oneshot but imnotacommittee pretty much said it all. My husband is just as protective - when I feel looked over and all, he's usually my truest advocate. It is disheartening when people don't listen to you, especially with someone like Anne who only speaks when she has something to add to the conversation. That's why her and Frederick are a wonderful couple. Thanks for the oneshot!

Oh, Frederick is protective of his wife! I loved how he notices Anne. In Persuasion, he's the only one who does (helping her onto the gig, for example), and it's the same here. Of course, he's married to her now and notices every little thing about her more than he did before. But his ire at the way she's so dismissed is rather sweet. And I can see Anne being complacent with it; she's so used to it. I just loved Wentworth's righteous anger that Anne be overlooked when she's so clearly better than anyone in her family.
