Your story is one of the few which have taken a fresh , psychological approach to Erik and Christines relationship . I am extremely curious to see where it goes . I actually really like this filler chapter , because it subtly shows us bits of their life together (the slight tension , and the comparison of Christine to a cat were nice touches) . I was so happy when I saw an Alert for this earlier and couldn't wait to enjoy it properly. It's short, but still important, as it's inevitable that Christine will seek out contact with another human being. Not sure if Erik was too impressed though... He is hard to read, isn't he?! You also managed to convey how much he is in control in that house - through Richard's reluctance to teach Christine and the way he left the room after Erik's order.

I was so happy to see an update for this story! It was worth the wait too, with some very interesting developments that will affect the whole story.. It's odd that Christine is still visiting Erik though, as it clearly makes her uncomfortable, but maybe it's just become a habit?
I love the way you've developed Christine from a slightly wild but carefree teenager into what she has become in the present day - full of doubts and uncertainties, and still locked into this strange relationship, mainly by her own choice. You've really creating some complex situations for her, with no easy answers. A very complex and thought provoking story.

Good chapter, but... Google Translate is never a good idea. Kind of took away Erik's credibility in this case, and made Christine’s crying almost humorous. You could change the song lyrics to a more general description of the music, maybe just keeping the first line (after changing it to: “Vous êtes un peu dur à aimer...”, or “Vous êtes un têtard un peu dur à aimer...” if the tadpole bit was not accidental, which it hopefully was). I liked last chapter (27) a lot.
