Holy shit. Really. This is beautifully written in that it is simple, and using just mere sentences, you can sum up events perfectly, as if you were there in the first place.

It's that strange enjoyment I'm feeling having read this that tells me that this was incredible.

This is the sort of story that you read once in a lifetime, the kind that leaves you without words to say because it was, as you so eloquently stated, "breathlessly beautiful". Though dark, horrorfying, and just plain sad, this has to be the best Code Geass fanfiction I've ever read, simply because it's so simple. The styling is basic, but somehow more descriptive and more intricate than you would first expect. This level of talent in this work isn't surprising. I've read many of your stories in the past, but this one for me at least, takes the cake and has a big ole cheery on top to seal the deal. Fantastic work.

Of course, after this I'm going to have to read a humor fic because while this story is glorious, I'm officially depressed.

I'm not really a fan of the angsty side of things, but your Lelouch isn't emo or evil for no reason, he's just a deeply, deeply twisted child in the shape of a man.
