Reviews for Understanding Parents
George P 4/10/13 . chapter 1
I like the first-person narrative that allows Misao to communicate her thoughts and feelings directly and clearly. The story is low-key, reflecting Misao's subdued feelings at revealing her Pixy Misa identity to her parents. There is no melodrama, just Misao embracing her family again - figuratively and literally. And even though the last sentence's focus is Misao's parents, I really liked Misao's simple declaration that's part of it: "It's ... great to be me again ..." Good work.
