This is so much hotter than the porny crap that often happens in fanfic b/c people have nothing to stop them... This is hot in a way that's exactly like the characters in question... taut, sizzly and edgy... I don't know where some of the stuff I write comes from either! Regardless, it's well worth reading.

I like your style of writing. Even though the pairing was a little odd.

"The exact same men they were before... After all, they're both used to getting screwed."
Powerful and it says more than it's brevity seems to want allow.
I've read... pretty much all of your West Wing fiction, and a good portion of the stuff you've written for other fandoms (Harry Potter, BtVS, etc), but I've always been put off by the pairing.
I'm glad I read it, though - wherever it came from, go back there some time soon.

"...tonight, there's something going on under the surface. He's angry and he's disillusioned, and it rolls off him like sweat and pheromones. He smoulders, and he's sitting too close on the faded couch in this hotel room, and Hoynes is thinking maybe that he'd like to screw Sam Seaborn." What a great passage! Oh, I love it. It sets the tone for the piece so well. The best part of this for me was getting to see Sam through someone elses eyes. We all know that there's things going on inside Sam, just like anybody else, but to be able to watch Hoynes discover that is so neat. I also like the line "And he doesn't know what it is that makes Seaborn look up, but he knows that his eyes are on fire, and very, very blue." great job with this. One of my faves.

I liked that. Especially that last line. And it really was kinda reminiscent of their scenes in Stirred, too. Great job.

I liked this a lot. Strange pairings always intrigue me, and you did this well. Bravo.

This was cool. Interesting, and it was slightly reminiscent of the Sam/VPOTUS scene in "Stirred". Nice work.
