Was Shu somehow testing Gai? Regardless, their conversation was most entertaining. Looks like Daryl is with Funeral Party. Shibungi and Ayase also make their appearance. I am really beginning to love this alternate Guilty Crown.

Tsugumi and Daryl make their appearance as well as the Gai that we all know so well. So does this mean Daryl will be a member of Funeral Parlor/Undertakers instead? If he does, then I find that a good thing. Now I am curious as to what will happen to them in the future as the plot progresses.

Such good moments Shu had with Haruka and Hare. That's the mother-son bonding time I'm talking about. If Shu's 'song' was just a whistle, then he is one hell of a whistler. Hare is sure is insightful of the world. It is indeed both ugly and beautiful. I sure hope she'll be okay considering what Shu did to her.

That a was a sweet moment between Shu and Hare. For some reason, I kept on imagining them as eight year olds in this chapter.

And he meets Hare here. I wonder if those gatherers and the more human 'Adam clones' will be like Shu's personal army in the future.

Character development for Gai. Good job on that. The anime never really did reveal what he did between the events of Lost Christmas and the start of the series.

I agree with your Author's Notes at the beginning considering Gai and Shu.

And the first and the last scene of this chapter really got my attention. The way you feel about Gai and Shu is somewhat how I feel about Haruka and Shu. Although both Haruka and Shu have mentioned that they do both care about each other, I feel that they never really bonded. I mean Shu still addresses her by her first name rather than calling her "mom".

This chapter has fuelled my want of Shu really being Haruka's biological son. I mean Shu looks a bit more like her than he does to his real mother. Besides, the thought of Mana and Shu being half-siblings isn't all that bad. At least that's my opinion.

Anyway, this chapter was good. To me, Yuu is in character.

Haha! She almost gave him a heart attack! This was a serious look into the amount of freedom and restrictions concerning Shu. He has power but he cannot over step certain boundaries. The only person to enforce that would be Yuu, however. You never want to anger someone who never seems to get angry.
