Great chapter! Some of my favorite parts are the voice-overs. ;D I still can't get over how perfect you've written everyone! I'm especially impressed with Sam. We only saw him in one episode, so you aren't really given a chance to thoroughly study his character; yet you've got him down to a fine art!

Oh my geese! I'm loving this so much! I think this is the best Mac fic I've ever read! Everyone is so true to the TV characters! Awesome story! I love the ending! You kept things very realistic and the escape was handled with true MacGyver flare. :) All the father/son scenes are so sweet; giving the reader a glimpse of the vulnerability and strength of these wonderful characters. I love this chapter! The author takes you from a scene with Sam, to a scene with the unlikely duo of Mac & Murdoc, to concerned "father" Pete, then over to Nikki & Jack the helpful repair-people :) It really feels exactly like an episode of MacGyver. Sam's thoughts let you see in him an image of his father. Mac and Murdoc bring comedy in their banter back and forth, giving you a different view of these polar opposites. The cliff-hanger ending leaves you wanting more. I eagerly await the upcoming chapters! :)

FABULOUS story (so far)! I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the continuation of the tale. The author has a compelling style and deep knowledge of her characters. MacGyver, Jack, Pete, Sam, Nikki (yes- and Murdoc) leap to life from these pages of dialogue and descriptions. Well done! :)
