I am amazed that the whole beginning part was just one prong of the whole plot, a planet that happened to be eager to have Dr. McCoy assigned there for 25 years and also happened to have staff of questionable morals. Very cool story, well-executed. I particularly like the dialogue and the inclusion of Sulu, Uhura, Chapel, and Scott.

Wow. I keep expecting you to end the story, but I'm loving that you've created a full conspiracy here. Great job, very interesting and clear plot, can't wait to read more!

Very interesting twist. Definitely haven't seen the idea of biohazard disposal before, but it makes sense.

I appreciate the explanation for why they didn't interfere much looking forward to the next chapter.

What a cool idea, for McCoy to control Spock's hands! I can't figure out the chronology - is this mission supposed to be set after the motion pictures? I'm confused with the "already carried the katra" vs. "still on a 5-year mission." Otherwise, very fun. And Uhura punching someone is entertaining, even if it's more in character for the STXI version than TOS.

OK, this is cool. Neat twist on Plato's Stepchildren - what if they'd just taken the doc? Looking forward to see where you take this.

oh wow. that was the most amazing thing I have ever read. the plot was very well designed and the detail was fantastic. you are very clever to have come up with such an ingenious idea, so clever in fact I started to think that you had written up an actual episode or one of the films. Wow, this is really good! And really long. Which is good! :) The dialogue between Spock and McCoy in revious chapters was really cool, but it was strange and funny to imagine Spock talking like McCoy.
