I just wanted to thank you for your beautifully moving stories -- this one especially, but I enjoyed all the stories in your "One Wise Woman" universe. You have an incredible eye for detail: Dippet's bulbous head, the pink weathervanes, the blue cloak with paisley swirls. Like a good poet, you're able to capture the one moment or one item that reveals a great deal about the character, event, or place being described. I also admire your ability to create genuine emotion without beating your readers over the head with it -- although I must say that you write angst better than you write romance.

I'm a viola player, and it pleased me to see "my" instrument being put to such effective use as a plot device. I've been looking for a good "Dumbledore defeats Grindelwald" fic for a long time, and I'm delighted to have finally found one. Bravo!
