|Reviews for Endings|
| igbogal 6/4/12 . chapter 1
I want to leave a great review, I really do, but this subtle and emotionally affecting story makes it kind of hard to write anything coherent. The premise is wonderfully creative, for one thing. I've always wondered what it would be like if harsh realities like death and senesence were tossed into Wodehouse's tidy universe, and you explored both themes beautifully. The idea of Jeeves having a child, who is probably also the last of his profession, is completely new and very pleasing. Jeeves the younger seems to care for Bertie in an oddly stiff kind of way, so there's also a bit of mystery as we are left to wonder if he became a valet as a personal choice or because his father said Bertie needed to be 'taken care of'. Thank you for taking the time to meticulously put this together.
