Glad to see another chapter up, and yes, it's nice to see the relationship dynamics between Owen and Ianto, as these change throughout the series, just as Ianto's relationship with Jack does. I liked the imagery of Ianto in his hospital bed, feeling "the seductive call of the morphine singing in his veins." (wonderful description of the body being enticed to relax by good pain relief).

I've come to expect it: the sudden thrill caused by an alert in my mailbox, in my minds eye like the white rabbit that beckons me to follow. The anxious excitement while the web sparks up and I'm catching fire, my fingers shaking. And this, this unblinking, breathless, devouring, addicting and bloody fantastic rush of an experience like no other.
I've come to expect it, every time there's a new chapter to this story. And you never fail to deliver.

I enjoyed this newest installment very much: you write Owen and Ianto just as well as Ianto and Jack. Your style and choice of words suits them, and their more-than-a-bit difficult relationship works well here. It's the early days after Lisa, and those two are too similar. Same background, same history, heartbreaks, losses, insecurities and new chances, but both dealing with them in completely opposite ways. It's not easy, watching the breakdown, when you understand someone that well.

The second to last? This is going to end?
I'm glad you know how to stop. It's a good thing to know, and this story, so small in a very big and important way, deserves an end: not taking it too far, carrying on for so long that it loses the very things that make it so wonderful. This will live forever, if only it ends.
Of course I'm sad. I don't want this to stop, what I've come to expect. It breaks my heart.

I promise that when all this is over, I'll go back. And I'll start again.

Once again, I've fallen in love with this story. Your writing is beautiful, a lone light creating long shadows, ephemeral and eternal at the same time. It's twistingly, achingly wonderful, and it feels like crying, dying and hoping. It's something, and something else. Everything there should be, and more. It's indescribable, and it sings.

What ever it may be, I love it. More and more with each chapter.
