I was absolutely riveted listening to Deeks tell his story about being undercover before and what he had to do, what he saw, and the pain and regrets he still carries. And it's with such interesting insight that you revealed his regret over what he feels he wasn't able to do, and the triumphs that he refuses to take credit for. And as always it is nice to see Kensi by his side, being the person there to listen, as well as the reminder of the goals he is striving for and what he has accomplished. Deeks is definitely in that dark place and it feels as though things may get more dangerous for him and Kensi before they get better. And I'm eagerly looking forward to reading how it will all turn out!

Ill just have to start all over again reading this amazing fic, too much time since I last read it but I cant wait to do it and let you know what you already know: that I love this story and that I think your writting is amazing.

Really interesting chapter. Reading the encounters that Deeks had with Holly had me on the edge of my seat. It was impressive how the exchanges were mostly dialogue and they told so much about who Deeks was at the time, all the horrible things Holly had been through and who she'd become, and how that relates to the current case. By the end my heart was just breaking for Deeks as he's so lost that he's just not sure who he is anymore. And what a relief that Kensi is there to reassure him of who he is, and to try and bring him around. She may be the only one who can. Stellar writing, as always!
