Anyways I like this remake!

I read this about three times before I could fathom the emotions in it, it's so very sad. So much in one place, so much love, so much hopelessness, so much crying.

But, just to play the antagonist, I want to know what happens before. What lead him here? It could be set up to happen after the wedding between Kate and Garth, or it could be from somewhere else that is yet to be defined.

AND, what happens after? Kate felt real love for Humphrey, no doubt about it. How does she feel? What about everyone else?

What if Humphrey lives just long enough to look into the eyes of Kate and see the tears fall?

What if Humphrey became a ghost to follow Kate, leading her to her own death by guilt. (gloomy...)

What if we lived in a world with no hypothetical questions?

Anyways, I love this story.
