These past few chapters have been amazing, even though I knew it was coming, I enjoyed reading from Daniel's point of view as he came to the realisation that Rosyth and Alexander are one and the same. And you are right, Daniel is not stupid or just being ignorant, you can tell by his actions he knows the truth, whether he was subconciously aware of it or just purposely refusing to admit it. Alexander is also wonderfully written, going through the motions of what he has ultimately put Daniel through and forced to face the consequences. He is very much weakened from when he first left Daniel, and almost seems like ready to accept what ever judgement Daniel will throw at him, but too broken to go without fighting. It was very heart wrenching to see Rosyth beg Daniel's forgiveness and watching Daniel pity him.
It's a wonderfully crafted realtionship and the struggles are complex, both acknowledging both are in the wrong but not fully accepting the blame. Without Alexander's work, Daniel would never had met Rosyth, and Rosyth's banishment meant Daniel would never have met Alexander. It's an endless spiral of love and hate, so you are not sure whether the two are strong enough to forgive and move on, or if the wounds are so deep they can never be forgiven. Regardless you can tell there is a change from when we last saw them.

And again i find myself in love with Maria, how she loaths her brother, loves Daniel like a sister, but furious with him for wishing Rosyth alive and Hy'vel dead. Maria may not have loved Hy'vel as much as he loved her, but the affection in clear in her tone as she watches his dying message. Hy'vel in general is a tragic character, flawed yes, but fighting for two loved ones who can never have and must ultimately watch as he's teared away from both of them. No reward and no gratitude. I love these two!
Maria's back story was very intruiging and suprising, and while yes, I too was waiting to see scenes of her time with Hy'vel, life in the millitary and friendship with Ke'threla. But I realise that's not the importance of Mari's message, its the family dynamic and Rosyth's ultimate betrayal. I'm sure she has a final role to play in all this and I can't wait to see how Daniel deals with yeat ANOTHER life changing revelation. I doubt he'll be so willing to sweep this one under the rug, and I fear how desperate and violent he'll get if Daniel were to try and leave him

If this story ends with a zombie Daniel, it will officially by the most shocking fanfic I've ever read...

After so long I've noticed that I wasn't logged in the last time I reviewed (my last review is the one below Twister). Really it's not all that great a review because I was exhausted on that particular day but I'll make sure that my final review for you will actually be worth a read. I hope you had a great Easter (if you celebrated). My own celebration had nothing to do with eggs or rabbits, but with funny videos. :P
P.S. I would love to see some extra stories on Maria's past after the main story is over! Of course place your other ambitions first becauseI would love seeing you get published one day even more!

OHKAY. So, I had it in my mind to review this since I started it a few weeks ago. It's such a great storyline and you capture everyone's character down to a fine point. You truly are a magnificent writer. I love how the story is coming along and I cannot wait for more updates! Now, onto the completely unprofessional fangirl side of my reading. With every chapter you slowly ripped my heart out and then flayed me open and painstakingly sewed it back. I may have cried a bit (LOT) while reading it too but that's beside the point. Being still in high school I also have a tendency to bombard my friends with everything about my online life and every single awesome fanfic I've ever read. Needless to say they have heard enough about this one to last them a lifetime haha. Anyways, It was a perfect fic and I'm actually really sad that I've made it to the last chapter for now. The life that you bring into Maria or more fitting, Hazel, is really well done. I knew that you would eventually show the importance of her character...and I was shocked when I found out that she was only "alive" again because of Danny. I guess he has that sort of personality that can even bring the dead.
As for when Rosyth said this : "It is not for anyone not family."; doesn't want me to make him feel defensive for him...it only shows how much of a coward he still is.
I'm excited to see how this story will end...the theme of entering the darkness has been fantastic, now, I wonder how you'll have them exit/ find a resolution...or maybe...they won't be finding any peace after this? Certainly, Daniel, at least, knows that they need to find redemption. I also wonder if you'll have Rosyth's character static or show growth by the end - as in shall he stay a coward or face up to his demons?

My heart will turn pure black if you separate them. Clearly fate needed these two to be together. Please don't do anything rash.

I've been reading the whole thing over and over and over and couldn't get enough of it - I seriously forgo even sleep, and for the fist time in my life I remember considering traffic jam as a blessing: since I could read your story from my smartphone just a little bit further!
It's amazing how you created a whole new world! With living, breathing characters, like they are real people. I simply love your story, you are brilliant! Thank you for continuing it!

And just when I thought your story couldn't get more intriguing - you prove me wrong! It reminds me of chapter 24 - NOW I actually understand the depth of Rosyth'nelaeish shok after Daniel's "I know about your sister and how your family was executed and I do not care!" phrase. am being silly still hoping for happy end? I fell in love with your characters, and while I sympathize with Maria, I can't imagine Daniel and Rosyth apart - it really tears my heart to pieces. please, please make it work somehow! I beg you! I remember Daniel saying: "I love you too. I dread that I will love you no matter what." (in ch 31) ... I'm grasping at straws here.

Oh wow I didn't expect Rosyth to have personally killed his own family before, but I should have know that since he successfully killed Hy'vel. Now Daniel, what is he to do?
