That was just fabulous. I loved it. My only wish now is to know what his reaction was to her wonderfully planned out joke.

The ending was easily guessed before reading past the first paragraph, but that's possibly because I remember reading of a similar story involving a king, his head adviser and the whole kingdom in general. You certainly gave it an interesting twist, though. I didn't expect Elizabeth to make as though she was really intent to leave, and Mr. Darcy's reaction was precious! Great fic, no matter the length of it.
