Vampires, real vampires, truly scare me. Any mythological creature that can twist the mind in an alluring way creeps the hell out of me.
A mermaid's boy-toy? I suppose there are worse fates, like, I don't know, becoming a strigoi? Great installment!

Damn. That's a bit of a bummer of a way to start a story. In a good way. It sets the tone, lets us know that there won't be a happy ending. Yes, where is Toothless? I look forward to reading the answer! And also, on a side note, why do I get the feeling that Hiccup would smack someone who wishes that they could live forever?

Have to admit, I'm hoping to read more crossovers with Percy Jackson... that was fun.

I fell in love with Hitchups, and this new continuum has the same greatness. I especially loved the Percy Jackson crossover chapter, it was very well written as well as hilarious. It left me curious to know more of what happened with that particular side story, if you could maybe add another chapter to that I think it would be great. I would be particularly curious to know Percy's reaction to Toothless.

There is not much worse than not being able to share with anyone what you experience. Careful what you wish for: because you might get it, as Hiccup experienced. He got the praise, but not in the means he thought, and finally, he realized he didn't want it. Funny, because for all his new fame, people still didn't listen more than in the past. He could barely place one sentence.

Although Ruff is right. He still have guts. To face them, to test his theories and newfound knowledge on dragons that might not be so much nice as Toothless. I think Hiccup's reaction to the near-kiss and his distraction when Astrid was talking to him was normal and perfectly believable. And we saw that the girls in particular were more observant than what was depicted in the movie.

I've got nothing on the vampires so long it's not cliché'ed and totally unbelievable. Which means your chapter was perfectly okay with me. What else ? The Mermaid protection was good. She had a reason to 'attack him' in Hitchups, other than just kissing him. She claimed him, because she wanted to hear the rest of the stories ? Because he is - like Toothless said - easy ? Whatever it is, it makes perfectly sense that the Mermaids would want to keep him for themselves.

Toothless claiming ownership. That has some potential of teasing from the dragon lol. Because I can't believe they'd outgrow that as easily. Anyway. Good chappie, but not outstanding. Just, well, this time maybe a little more details would've been cool. Still, it was enjoyable. Bye for now !

Nope, not too confusing. A little, but then again, you hinted and let us work the rest. Sometimes it's better than overfilling with details, something I seem to do a little too much. It was sad, but then again, I suppose it was meant to be that way. After all, no one can be expected to live for so long and not suffer for it. Still, it's sad for Hiccup, having to go on without Toothless. But still, in the end, he was true to himself, even with all that suffering. He couldn't let go that easily. A Hero's decision.

I wonder what will happen in the last chapter, something I look forward to as much as I don't. But anyway. You're still as good, don't worry.

Can we have more interaction with the drove? Please? PLEASE? Also the PJO chapter was hallarious and you should continue with that side-story

Hmmm, a son? Perhaps Hiccup's first? :) Would love to hear about their night of romance, lol, but that's just me. As With Hitchups, this was done well, like little side notes, extra bits of information, an insight to life after the story (I personally wanted Hiccup to finally one day return to take up the position of chief . . . but I'm not the writer am I :) ). You really are an exceptional writer, well done. Vixen

Hitchups was a masterpiece, and I am so happy to see it being continued! I hope to see some insight into Hiccup's future as well as his past.

gotta love this sequel, though I am a little disappointed. I felt like Hiccup left too many loose ends when hitchups was finished. All his girls (that damn playboy), the mermaids, explaining his dad and friends he's immortal, her destiny guardian (which is supposed to still be alive withing his soul), the byzantinian empress, the hungarian sharpshooter (who was meant to be seen again), Loki's interference, meeting Astrid, Fishlegs and Camicazi. Not to mention I would have loved seeing him exploring other lands and taking part in major historical events. I felt like hitchups deserved a sequel, and if made of oneshots, at least in chronological order, so that we could still feel a sense of story. I do love the crossover idea and I think you should do more. I also love the idea of placing hiccup in a modern setting and comparing him to his peers (high school hiccup ftw?). I feel like the boy would always get involved in things somehow... but I guess that is too much the original hiccup, and not the one in your story, which seems to be a fredoom seeking guy, and a lone wolf. I still feel like hiccup would never get tired of this world though, even after living millennias. I didn't like the first chapter when he seems to just give up on things... and how the hell did you kill off toothless? wasn't he supposed to age with him? That was a little too sad and angsty for my tastes...

I really like these, all of them!
