I went back to review the earlier chapters. This is more about chapter one, but I posted a review of that already. This has some of the best Rumbelle. You capture Gold's pain when he asks Belle to not pretend to be with him by choice. Gold's passion is well done too, with your lines including that he looked like he was going to eat her and about his striking with the speed of a snake. The angst is great when Belle locks herself in the bathroom. I will label this sizzling angsty eroticism.

I think that present was for both of them! I love the fluffy, smutty things that happen in stories. Its the payoff after dealing with angst!
