I'm going to say something very uncharacteristic for me; O.M.G. there, you got it. this story is amazing. period. end of story. fantastic. great job.

I vaguely remember something about a breakup, but I guess it wasn't in here. Weird. Anyways, I'm pretty interested in this story simply because I know you're the queen of writing YukimuraOC. Kaori is such a pretty name for a girl, and it seems so delicate when you say it out loud.

I like how you associate the ocean for Yukimura, and the paradoxes he applies to himself and his team, especially when it comes to Kirihara's health in exchange for his growth. Also, the kiss scene. SO PRETTY AND ROMANTIC. uwahhh it appeals to my girly side. :3 Even though you've already said it'll probably end and that makes me sad, as if I were breaking up with him. sigh.

It's just so amazing how real it feels (maybe it's because I'm listening to some sad music right now but whatever) and you see Kaori caught up by his emotions. And I can see that he's just oh so vulnerable right here, and you've exposed all of Yukimura's flaws so BEAUTIFULLY it makes me want to cry. The Seiichi she loves is completely replaced by the Seiichi who is the captain, and she's confused by this. Man, I feel like she's me, actually.

Well that was a lovely but sad love story or like story, depending on what they feel for each other. It's kinda saddening how people can just drift apart... anyway, yipee! You posted this story. If I remember correctly, this was the story you mentioned when I asked you to make a yukimura fanfic. It's a great story despite the fact that it's, not depressing or sad, just not happy towards the end. Well, I hope to read part 2 soon! :)

When I read the author's note, I froze at the part "stream-of-consciousness" because it reminds me of the nightmare of reading William Faulkner's Intruder in the Dust. I would like to say I like this chapter a lot more than I like the book; it was certainly more understandable too. However, I can't feel the bond between the Yukimura and Kaori. It feels more like a deep, subtle friendship than a relationship. She won't pity him, and he is just, just... indescribable.

I loved this. It was just so whimsical and dreamlike and sweet and breathey. Kaori seems like a cool person.

Honestly speaking, I think that the reason Yukimura decided to take a reason on her is because he was intrigued. Because he was interested. Putting it bluntly, because he was used to figuring people out with ease and Kaori was like a complex puzzle that you just can't solve.

Anyway, is she going to make a cameo appearance in 250 DS? Cuz maybe An could bump into her while Kaori was on her way to the art room or something, and then An could

I loved this. The prose is beautiful and poetic and sounds like a song, a melody. The characterization of Yukimura here is spot on, and I liked how it was told in the girl's perspective. I loved the ocean metaphor, and how the OC studies Yukimura. Well done.

Their love story doesn't end there, right? I'm curious to know why they broke up. (Maybe Kaori can have a cameo in 250 Dark Stars! An bumps into her or something, then Sayoko approaches and- yeah I think I should leave that to you to decide whether or not to do so ;)
