This is very engaging writing, and I'm eagerly looking forward to more. I'm glad to see you've gotten even better in the months since I last looked over your work.

This is the most hardcore Kozo Fuyutsuki I've ever seen. In the many, many Eva fanfics I've come across, he never really seems to get much attention, or change all that much, regardless of what else does. This, far and above, it the most impressive character rework I've ever seen of him, and will probably stand out in my memory for as long as fanfiction does.

Needs moar updates. I'm liking this redux you're working on.

Very good, much better and mature than the original Riddle of Steel. I really enjoyed the original and I'm very interested in this new one.

I find this to be a much better read then the other version. this is how I imagined the story to be when I started to read the other story. So far I have really enjoyed this fic and I hope you continue to update.

I just cant explain to you how much I look forward to see Shinji/Rie conversations, I mean I could imagine Shinji going like "ME BIGGEST" while Rei goes "That is correct Pilot Ikari"... please blow my mind

Like, I'm not sure if you're serious. It's very well written, technically at least. It flows together well. The characterizations ... are not bad. (Shinji doesn't seem to have much to him besides ME MAN WARRIOR, though)

But I feel like you're writing this sort of tongue-in-cheek. It feels like it should be ridiculous, but you're such a good writer ...

This has real potential. And I must say the bear attack scene was one of the best transitions I've ever come across to bridge such disparate worlds.

After I had finished the original, I was still feeling the rush that I sometimes get when reading stories, so I thought it was balls-to-the-wall amazing. And, while the original /was/ good, after reading the Director's cut I realise that a lot of it didn't really... work. At the time I ignored the not so good stuff and the poorly explained stuff and the just-plain-doesn't-make-sense stuff because I just wanted to enjoy Conan!Shinji kicking ass. And flipping the fuck out and ripping angels to pieces and... yeah, that didn't make a lot of sense, you probably know that, that's why there's a rewrite, sorry for rambling.

ANYWAY, this time, your being a lot more down to earth with the plot and story-telling style. (As down to earth as you can be with Evangelion, anyway.) Again, the descriptions and depth of detail are unprecedented in their quality. The whole 'Shinji-lifts-weights-for-two-months-and-suddenly- he's-got-the-body-of-a-god' thing has been done away with completely, one of the things that bugged me in the original. Having Fyutsuki raise him, was an interesting take that I don't believe I have seen done before. He was an amazing character to read and I was sad to see him go...

Have you ever considered writing original fiction? Because if this is your standard, I would buy your books. Seriously, this is good stuff!

This is so much better than the original. I can just imagine Shinji breaking into his father's office to speak with him. I can't wait for chapter 3. Keep it up. This is going in my C2.

Thank you for the update. This story promises to be even more interesting than the original, which was excellent, and made me curious: Misato and Shinji? The role reversal was interesting. Who is the seducer and who is the prey? But that's only going to be a joke or serious? I am anxious to know!

P.S.1: You caught me by surprise with the genre shift in the first The Riddle of Steel, despite being announced in the legend, now I'm ready for a tragic ending, but I hope they have a bit of happiness before the horror happen.

P.S.2: Ritsuko in battle suit was strangely amusing and oddly seemed sexier than imagining Misato in the same outfit. Thank you for sharing this story with us.
