I love the ending! Is Marissa the one with the powers? That's an awesome twist ending!

Great story so far! It's a Good Life and It's Still a Good Life are my two favorite episodes of the Twilight Zone. :)

You’ve been watching your Twilight Zone. I watched the original episode when I was a kid, and read the sci fi story when I was in high school, a few decades ago. I learned about the sequel just today, with the grownup Anthony and his daughter, on the TZ revival. I also see elements here of the version from the TZ 1980’s movie. All 3 versions are at Youtube; unless the website moderators sent the uploads ‘to the cornfield’. :D

This story has possibilities, but some reworking is needed. When Audrey brings Marissa to Peaksville, it’s not only from the outside world, it’s from real life to the imaginary Twilight Zone dimension. If that has really happened, Marissa should act more amazed, especially when the cage forms around her. People who are suddenly in an alternate reality would tend to freak out extensively.

Props for taking on a story based on such a landmark TZ episode.
