"...and all that remained of you was your skeleton... entirely complete and connected, glowing a very lovely shade of lavender."

... which was the moment when I fell from my chair. That's absolutely marvelous. *applauds wildly*

it's not bad, kinda good, beyond that it's just "open mouth" don't know what to say

Whoa. Weird. Yet, oddly compelling. Very well done. I felt so bad for Snape!

Every time I've read this, I've laughed like a maniac. Congratulations! Any chance you'll continue it with the defeat of Voldemort (hopefully in some wonderfully ridiculous and dramatic display of Longbottom ineptitude?). Love to read it if you do! Your characterization is especially good...Snape says more with action and tone than with words, and Albus is the velvet bulldozer. Nice work.

"You have always maintained that, if sufficiently terrified, Neville Longbottom would manifest powers beyond even Voldemort’s wildest imaginings -- ”" ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS.

Heh heh! They need to see if they can recreate that effect! LOL It's a shame Fawkes had to put back his mark, but I quite liked Dumbledore's musings on what would happen to him if they had left him as powder in jar. Worse fates indeed!

I love how you capture Snape's voice even when he is shaken, his cynicism and trust of Dumbledore.
