The only explanation for Ascanio being Ludovico cousin I can think of is that it would make more sense to betray them to the Borgias than if they were brothers. I don't know why they changed so much regarding the Neapolitan relationships. I think most of the audience watching the Borgias don't know their history so they can change that and few will pitch a fit. I always wondered why they bothered to change it around like that, they could have just never addressed everyone's relations and I would have been happier with it. Why Alfonso is twenty is behind me.

Well written, and I really enjoy the way you wrote Alfonso, It's really quite cute how they act together. Can't wait to see what happens. Also with the miscarriage it was sorta historically accurate. Lucrezia Borgia did have quite a bit of trouble when it came to carrying and birthing children.

I'd just like to say I'm adoring the contrasting emotions in this story so far :) There's the tentativeness as Lucrezia and Alfonso grow closer, and the heat during their intimate moments together, and their usual interactions are pretty funny as well. Update soon!
